Customer Success Stories

See how companies use FoxIDs to solve their authentication challenges and deliver secure, seamless experiences to their users.

JO Informatik

Danish Digital Archiving & Software Solutions

The Challenge

JO Informatik needed a standardized identity platform to secure multiple applications and streamline integrations with a complex landscape of 80% of all Danish municipalities and national authentication systems like NemLog-in providing MitID and Context Handler (FKA).

The Solution

By self-hosting FoxIDs, JO Informatik established a unified identity platform with consistent configuration across their applications and APIs. FoxIDs made it straightforward to connect to Context Handler and NemLog-in using SAML 2.0 (OIOSAML 3) and seamlessly convert it to OpenID Connect. This setup allows for multiple authentication options, including direct login and SSO from municipal identity providers.

The Result

JO Informatik now offers a seamless single sign-on experience, providing users with simple and secure access regardless of their authentication method. The standardized platform simplifies management and makes it easy to support a wide range of authentication possibilities for their applications.

Aveki

Digital Infrastructure for Municipal Services

The Challenge

Aveki needed to develop a unified identity provider, "Aveki ID", to deliver secure and standardized authentication across multiple applications used by municipalities and public organisations. Each customer had its own Identity Provider (IdP) - often managed locally - and required flexible, secure integration while maintaining strict compliance with ISO 27001. Aveki also sought to simplify identity management across a growing portfolio of digital infrastructure solutions, including systems for water supply (VA), district heating, urban planning and parish administration.

The Solution

By implementing FoxIDs Cloud, Aveki established "Aveki ID" as a centralized and configurable identity provider supporting multiple authentication methods through both SAML 2.0 and OIDC. FoxIDs enables seamless integration with each customer's existing IdP, ensuring secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and uniform authentication across applications. This architecture provides Aveki with a consistent identity model - regardless of whether solutions are deployed in the cloud or on-premises, and whether SAML 2.0 or OIDC is used.

The Result

Aveki now offers a secure, scalable, and ISO 27001-compliant authentication experience that adapts to each customer's environment. Municipalities and public organisations benefit from a unified login process using their existing identity systems, while Aveki achieves simplified configuration, improved security governance, and faster onboarding for new solutions across their expanding portfolio. The solution combines a user-friendly experience with enterprise-grade security to support the digital transformation of public infrastructure.
